Electrical & Mechanical Engineer for Motorized Vinyl Table — CE Compliance

Project Overview We are developing a limited-edition premium vinyl record table with two speakers that automatically pop up from inside the table when activated. The table includes a turntable, amplifier/speakers, motorized mechanism, power supply and control electronics. We are looking for an experienced Electrical / Mechatronics Engineer with CE/EU compliance experience to help us design and document the complete system. What We Need The engineer will help us with: Complete electrical architecture and wiring. Professional electrical schematic and wiring diagram. Power distribution, grounding/earthing, fuses and electrical protection. Integration of the CE-compliant motorized pop-up mechanism. Motor/actuator control and limit-switch configuration. Protection against overload, short circuits and overheating. Identification of pinch/crush and mechanical safety risks. Integration of the turntable, amplifier, speakers and other electronics. Review of our existing components and their CE documentation. Recommendations for safe cable routing, connectors and internal layout. CE / EU Compliance CE experience is essential. We need someone who understands the compliance of the complete finished product, not just individual components. The engineer should be able to advise us on: Applicable EU directives/regulations Relevant EN/IEC standards EMC requirements Electrical safety RoHS Mechanical/moving-part safety Risk assessment Required testing Technical documentation EU Declaration of Conformity We want someone who can help us prepare the product properly for EU testing and compliance. Existing Components We already have some components selected, including a CE-compliant actuator/mechanism and CE-compliant turntable. We will provide: Component specifications and CE documentation Electrical information Furniture drawings Photos/videos of the prototype Speaker/amplifier specifications Power supply information The engineer will review these components and determine how they should be safely integrated into one complete system.
