Electronics Engineer Needed for High-Speed ToF LiDAR Module

Design a Low-Cost Single-Point ToF LiDAR Sensor Module I am developing a sports timing device and have successfully built a prototype using the Benewake TFmini-S LiDAR sensor. I am looking for an experienced electronics/embedded engineer to design a new single-point ToF LiDAR module with similar functionality but optimized for my application. This is **not** intended to be a copy of the TFmini-S. The goal is a simpler, lower-cost design while maintaining reliable high-speed performance. **Requirements:** * Single-point ToF LiDAR * Detection range approximately 0.2–5 m * High-speed updates (250–1000 Hz preferred) * UART output * 5V input * Accuracy does not need to match the TFmini-S; repeatable detection is more important than absolute precision. * Compact PCB suitable for production * Target manufacturing cost under $10 USD **Deliverables:** * Recommended ToF sensor and optical architecture * Schematic * PCB layout * Firmware * Prototype support * BOM with estimated manufacturing cost * Assistance preparing the design for manufacturing **Please include:** * Examples of similar optical, ToF, LiDAR, or embedded projects * Your recommended ToF sensor and why you chose it * Estimated development cost and timeline * Whether you can assist with prototype manufacturing **Preference will be given to engineers with proven experience designing ToF or LiDAR products using technologies from STMicroelectronics (FlightSense), ams OSRAM, Infineon, or similar sensor platforms.
