WordPress + Elementor Redesign — Luxury Short-Term Rental Website (Clyde House) Project Overview Clyde House is a boutique apartment-hotel in Halifax, Nova Scotia with 5,000+ five-star reviews and Airbnb Superhost status since 2022. We offer short stays, long stays, and a curated in-unit collection. The WordPress site (clyde.house) is live with all databases, property listings, and backend structures fully set up. We are not building from scratch — we are elevating an existing foundation to match a luxury, high-end hospitality brand. The Foundation Platform: WordPress with Astra child theme + Elementor Pro (already active) Booking/PMS: Hostaway (our property management system — handles availability and booking) Design reference: Figma prototype at https://real-opera-30892398.figma.site/ — this is the baseline, not a rigid spec Aesthetic Direction We have a complete marketing and branding package that you will have to follow. The current site needs to be elevated to match the feel of these reference brands — study them before applying: ukio.com kasa.com acehotel.com Think: editorial spacing, refined typography hierarchy, clean luxury — not flashy, not corporate. Scope of Work Design & UX Translate and elevate the Figma prototype into a polished, luxury UI system Refine typography, spacing, visual hierarchy, and component consistency across all pages Homepage: hero section, property listings entry, booking flow entry, trust signals Property/listing pages: image presentation, content flow, booking-focused UX About page: brand story, editorial feel Collection page: curated product gallery marketplace — build with WooCommerce scalability in mind Header, footer, navigation: simplified, luxury-aligned Global design system: reusable Elementor components, consistent buttons, spacing tokens Development Build entirely in Elementor Pro — no hardcoded layouts, no custom builders I can't manage post-handoff Hostaway booking widget: redesign the front-end experience so it integrates seamlessly with the site's visual language (built-in experience preferred over redirect, but must be 100% reliable) Location selector: dynamic dropdown (currently Clyde / Granville, needs to be editable for future locations) Fully responsive: desktop and mobile layouts both polished — not just default Elementor stacking Performance: clean up unused widgets, optimize images, improve load speed Future Scalability Note The Collection page to become a marketplace (our products + future vendor products). I need your recommendation on the best path forward (WooCommerce, Shopify embed, headless, etc.) so the current build creates zero technical debt. Include this in your proposal. Out of Scope Guest Login feature (visible in Figma — ignore it) Building from scratch — you are refining a working site What I Need in Your Proposal To be considered, your proposal must include: Itemized breakdown by page/section with estimated hours or cost per item Total fixed price (hourly bids will not be considered) Timeline with milestones 2–3 live examples of hospitality, STR, or luxury brand sites you have built in Elementor Your revision process and how you handle post-launch bugs Your recommendation for the Collection page marketplace path (1 paragraph) Ideal Candidate Has built Elementor sites for short-term rental, hospitality, or luxury brands Understands the gap between a functional site and a premium brand experience Can work independently with minimal back-and-forth once scope is aligned Available to start within the week I review proposals carefully and move fast once the right fit is found.
