Email Database (CSV) Cleanup

Overall presentation is cleaner and ready to be loaded into a new CRM ## Role Clean and organize two Excel worksheets by matching customer records, standardizing names, and categorizing contacts based on their purchase history. ## Responsibilities * Review customer names that are inconsistently formatted. * Determine the primary first and last name from entries such as: * John "Vince" & Jenn Sessions → John Sessions * Ken & Eileen Dawe → Ken Dawe * Renee Ambush (Carmichael) → Renee Ambush * Match each cleaned name to the corresponding email address in the master contact spreadsheet. * Review the payment history columns and total the number of months each customer has paid. * Categorize every contact by total months purchased. * Identify contacts that are not customers. ## Successful Outcome At the completion of the project: * Every contact has the correct email matched. * Customer names have been standardized consistently. * Every customer's total paid months have been calculated accurately. * The database is separated into customers (grouped by months purchased) and non-customers. * The spreadsheet is organized well enough to be imported into our CRM with minimal additional cleanup. ## Requirements * Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills * Exceptional attention to detail. * Comfortable making judgment calls when cleaning inconsistent names. * Able to recognize and match records even when formatting differs. * Experience with CRM data cleanup or spreadsheet organization is a plus.
