Email Deliverability Expert – Sendy, Amazon SES & Gmail Inbox Placement

Email Deliverability & Sendy/Amazon SES Specialist We are seeking an experienced email deliverability specialist to help optimize and troubleshoot our email marketing infrastructure. We currently use Sendy with Amazon SES and maintain a database of approximately 15,000 healthcare professionals. Responsibilities: Review our target market, mailing list, and campaign goals. Audit our current Sendy and Amazon SES setup and configuration. Analyze campaign performance to determine what is working and identify issues that may be affecting deliverability. Investigate current problems with blocked emails, spam placement, and undeliverable messages, particularly with Gmail recipients. Review domain reputation, DNS records, SPF, DKIM, DMARC, bounce handling, suppression lists, and list hygiene. Recommend and implement improvements to our email infrastructure, including domains, subdomains, servers, and email templates. Advise on best practices for segmentation, authentication, and maintaining long-term sender reputation. Provide a clear action plan to maximize inbox placement and campaign performance. (Optional) Assist in sourcing and appending additional contacts that match our target market. Requirements: Proven experience with Amazon SES and Sendy. Strong knowledge of email deliverability and authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC). Experience troubleshooting Gmail and Microsoft inbox placement issues. Familiarity with sender reputation tools, blacklist monitoring, and email list hygiene. Ability to provide references or examples of similar projects.
