Email Marketer for Language Learning App - Brevo Experience Needed

Role Overview We’re looking for an Email Marketer to own our lifecycle marketing—from winback campaigns to weekly newsletters to automation flows inside Brevo. This role is perfect for someone who understands how to turn email into a revenue and retention engine—not just send broadcasts. You’ll be responsible for driving: User activation (first lesson → habit) Retention (ongoing engagement) Winback (bringing inactive users back) Monetization (free → paid conversions) Key Responsibilities Lifecycle & Automation (Brevo) Build and optimize email automation flows in Brevo (onboarding, activation, retention, winback, upsell) Set up behavior-based triggers (signup, lesson completion, inactivity, subscription events) Continuously A/B test flows to improve open rates, CTR, and conversion Winback Campaigns Develop and execute winback sequences for inactive users (email + optional SMS) Segment users by behavior (inactive, churned, low engagement) Craft messaging that re-engages users emotionally and culturally Newsletters & Broadcasts Own weekly or bi-weekly newsletter strategy Write engaging, high-performing email copy (educational, storytelling, product updates) Align newsletters with product launches, campaigns, and cultural moments (e.g., Ramadan, Eid) Segmentation & Personalization Build smart audience segments based on: Language interest (Dari, Pashto, Urdu, Farsi) Engagement level Subscription status Personalize content to improve relevance and retention Analytics & Optimization Track and report on: Open rate Click-through rate Conversion rate (free → paid) Retention / reactivation metrics Identify drop-offs in the funnel and propose improvements
