**Email Marketing Contractor — 4 Brands (Ongoing, Part-Time)** We're hiring an experienced email marketing contractor to own the full email lifecycle across a portfolio of 4 brands. This is a focused, email-only engagement—a deliberate carve-out of a larger marketing program—budgeted at roughly 5 hours/week (~20 hours/month). No tiers: one clear, defined scope. **WHAT YOU'LL OWN** You handle each brand's email program end to end: per-send strategy, copy, design and build, segmentation, A/B testing, scheduling, deliverability, and reporting. You'll also create and implement strategies to actively grow the email lists—including outbound/outreach programs to current and prospective clients/customers, with compliant, permission-based opt-in capture (no purchased lists). **MONTHLY DELIVERABLES (across all 4 brands)** - 4–8 campaigns/broadcasts (1–2 per brand): copy, design, build, QA, scheduling, send - 1 automated flow built or improved (welcome, abandonment, win-back, post-purchase, or nurture), rotated across brands - 1–2 A/B tests (subject line, creative, send time, or offer), logged and applied - Weekly list hygiene and segmentation (suppression, re-engagement, segment updates) - Ongoing list growth and outreach to expand subscribers - Ongoing deliverability monitoring (sender reputation, bounce/complaint rates, SPF/DKIM/DMARC) - Weekly + monthly performance reporting **COMPENSATION & MILESTONES** Flat $20/week ($80/month), milestone-based. A weekly milestone releases $20 once that week's planned sends are out (or scheduled and approved), list hygiene is done, list-growth/outreach actions are logged, and the weekly status report is filed. Paid weekly per accepted milestone, or consolidated to $80 at month-end—as mutually agreed by both parties. Nothing releases until acceptance criteria are met. **TOOLS & WORKFLOW** - Platform fluency in at least one of Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or ConvertKit (or each brand's incumbent) - ClickUp (system of record) and Notion (running log) - Communication via Email and Microsoft Teams - End-of-day status on each workday; consolidated weekly summary every Friday **FILE FORMAT REQUIREMENTS (important)** No Adobe—we hold no Adobe licenses; .psd/.ai/.indd source will be rejected. Editable graphics must be delivered in Affinity Designer (.afdesign) or Affinity Photo (.afphoto) with web-ready PNG/JPG exports. Email builds: responsive, tested HTML/CSS (or the platform's native builder), verified on desktop and mobile before scheduling. **REPORTING** Weekly (Friday): sends completed vs. planned by brand, what was tested and learned, headline metrics (open rate, CTR, conversions/revenue, list growth, unsubscribes/complaints), and the next-week plan. Monthly: per-brand trends, best/worst sends, flow performance, and recommendations. **REQUIREMENTS** - Proven email marketing experience managing multiple brands or accounts - Comfortable with list hygiene, sender reputation, and authentication concepts - Basic HTML/CSS for email; judicious use of AI tools for drafting copy, always with human review - Strong written English; reachable during our operating window, 7:00 AM–9:00 PM Pacific (USA) - Acknowledge messages within one working day; same-day on anything affecting a scheduled send **OUT OF SCOPE (unless separately agreed)** Organic/paid social, search/PPC, SEO, long-form content, video or AI persona production, Wikipedia, and reputation/review work; standalone website or landing-page work beyond email signup forms; DNS changes (you advise, we implement).
