Summary

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Email Marketing Specialist to manage and optimize our email marketing & create a SMS program using Klaviyo & Twilio. This role focuses on customer retention, lifecycle marketing, email list growth, and revenue optimization through strategic campaigns and automated flows. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in direct-to-consumer (DTC) ecommerce, understands customer lifecycle marketing, and knows how to leverage Klaviyo data to increase customer lifetime value (LTV) and repeat purchase rate. Key Responsibilities Email Marketing Strategy Develop and execute a comprehensive email marketing strategy focused on retention, revenue growth, and customer engagement. Plan and manage weekly and monthly email campaigns including promotions, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and newsletters. Analyze campaign performance and continuously optimize for open rates, click-through rates, and revenue per recipient. Klaviyo Flow Optimization Build, manage, and optimize automated email flows including: Welcome Series Abandoned Cart Browse Abandonment Post-Purchase Follow-Up Winback Campaigns Cross-Sell / Upsell Flows VIP / Loyalty Segmentation Continuously test and improve flows through A/B testing, segmentation, and personalization. Customer Retention & Lifecycle Marketing Implement lifecycle marketing strategies to improve customer retention and repeat purchase behavior. Segment audiences based on purchase history, engagement, and behavior. Create targeted messaging for new customers, returning customers, and high-value segments. Email List Growth Develop strategies to grow and maintain a high-quality email subscriber list. Manage and optimize signup forms, popups, and lead capture campaigns. Collaborate with marketing teams on lead generation initiatives and promotional campaigns. Analytics & Optimization Monitor and report on key performance metrics including: Email-attributed revenue Conversion rate List growth rate Customer retention metrics Use data insights to improve campaign performance and customer engagement. Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, content, timing, and segmentation. Requirements 2+ years experience managing Klaviyo email marketing for ecommerce brands Strong understanding of DTC ecommerce lifecycle marketing Experience building and optimizing automated email flows Experience growing and managing email subscriber lists Proficiency in Klaviyo segmentation, analytics, and reporting Strong copywriting and campaign planning skills Ability to analyze data and make performance-driven decisions Preferred Qualifications Experience with Shopify ecommerce brands Familiarity with SMS marketing within Klaviyo Understanding of customer lifetime value (LTV) optimization Experience working with creative teams or designers on email assets Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Success in this role will be measured by: Email-attributed revenue Growth of email subscriber list Customer retention rate Repeat purchase rate Flow conversion performance Tools & Platforms Klaviyo Shopify Google Analytics Email design tools (Figma, Canva, or similar)
