# Email Marketing Manager ### Brad Hovis | REI School | REIBIZ **Part-Time (15–20 Hours/Week Initially) | Remote | Reports to the Director of Marketing & Growth** ## About Us We are building an AI-powered real estate ecosystem designed to help people make better investing decisions and build wealth through ownership. Our ecosystem includes: * **REI School** – AI-powered real estate education * **Hovis** – AI Real Estate Co-Pilot * **REIBIZ** – Real Estate Operations Platform * **Brad Hovis** – Personal Brand * **Hovis Capital** – Private Equity We're looking for an experienced Email Marketing Manager to build and manage the email marketing engine that nurtures prospects, increases engagement, converts customers, and protects our sender reputation. --- # The Opportunity Email will be one of the most valuable assets in our business. We have a verified database of more than **100,000 contacts** and want to relaunch communication with this audience the right way. We're looking for someone who understands that email marketing is much more than sending newsletters. It requires strategy, deliverability, automation, segmentation, copywriting, testing, and continuous optimization. This position will work directly with our Director of Marketing & Growth. --- # Your Mission Build a world-class email marketing system that develops relationships, protects our sender reputation, increases customer engagement, and maximizes customer lifetime value. --- # Primary Responsibilities ## Email Strategy Develop and execute our complete email marketing strategy, including: * Customer lifecycle campaigns * Launch campaigns * Weekly newsletters * Promotional campaigns * Educational content * Product announcements * Re-engagement campaigns * Win-back campaigns --- ## Email Deliverability Protect and improve our sender reputation. Responsibilities include: * Inbox placement optimization * SPF, DKIM and DMARC best practices * List hygiene * Deliverability monitoring * Spam complaint monitoring * Bounce management * Email authentication * Domain reputation management Experience protecting large email databases is required. --- ## Automation & CRM Build and optimize email automations including: * Welcome sequences * Trial onboarding * Abandoned trial campaigns * Customer onboarding * Customer education * Upsell campaigns * Win-back campaigns * Re-engagement campaigns Experience with **GoHighLevel** is highly preferred. --- ## Audience Segmentation Create intelligent audience segments based on: * Customer behavior * Engagement history * Website activity * Trial status * Purchase history * Interests * Email engagement Our goal is to send the right message to the right person at the right time. --- ## Copywriting Write engaging emails that educate, build trust, and drive action. You'll work closely with Brad Hovis to communicate his voice while continually testing and improving: * Subject lines * Calls to action * Storytelling * Educational content * Product messaging --- ## Testing & Optimization Continuously improve performance through testing. Responsibilities include: * Subject line testing * Content testing * Send time optimization * Audience segmentation testing * CTA testing * Automation optimization --- ## Reporting Track and report key email metrics, including: * Open Rate * Click-Through Rate * Click-to-Open Rate * Reply Rate * Unsubscribe Rate * Spam Complaint Rate * Deliverability * Trial Starts * Trial-to-Paid Conversion * Revenue Generated from Email --- # Ideal Qualifications We're looking for someone who has built and managed sophisticated email marketing systems. Preferred qualifications include: * 3+ years of email marketing experience * Experience managing large email databases * Strong understanding of email deliverability * GoHighLevel experience (strongly preferred) * Experience with lifecycle marketing * Experience building automation workflows * Audience segmentation experience * Strong copywriting skills * Excellent English communication * Highly analytical mindset Bonus experience: * AI products * SaaS businesses * Online education companies * Real estate investing --- # Success Metrics Success in this role will be measured by: * Improved inbox placement * Higher open rates * Higher click-through rates * Increased reply rates * Growth in trial signups from email * Higher trial-to-paid conversion * Reduced spam complaints * Reduced unsubscribe rates * Improved customer engagement * Increased revenue generated through email --- # What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who understands that email marketing is about building relationships—not simply sending campaigns. You should enjoy solving problems like: * Why aren't subscribers opening our emails? * Why are people dropping off during onboarding? * How do we safely re-engage a dormant email list? * How do we improve trial conversions? * How do we increase customer lifetime value?
