About Us We are a fast-growing e-commerce email marketing agency looking for an experienced Email Marketing Strategist to join our team long-term. We are not looking for agencies. We are seeking an individual freelancer who is highly experienced in managing email strategy for e-commerce brands and is passionate about driving results through email marketing. Position Overview As our Email Marketing Strategist, you will be responsible for overseeing email strategy, optimizing account performance, collaborating with internal team members, and communicating directly with clients to help them achieve their revenue goals. Compensation: Base Pay: $850/month for managing up to 8 clients Additional $100/month for each additional client Client retention bonuses for clients who stay beyond the minimum period Full-Time (40 Hours/Week) Manage up to 15 Klaviyo accounts Responsibilities: Monthly Tasks: Plan monthly email campaign calendars Manually clean email lists Performance Optimization: Deliverability optimization (twice per week) Pop-up optimization (weekly) Core email flow optimization (weekly) Analyze campaign performance (weekly) Create performance reports (bi-weekly) Strategic Planning: Plan 1 new flow email each week OR Plan 1 new pop-up each week Team Collaboration: Attend 15–30 minute team calls every Monday and Friday Attend 30-minute strategist meetings with the COO every Monday and Friday Review and approve email campaigns created by copywriters and designers Collaborate closely with account managers, designers, and copywriters Client Management: Communicate with clients and provide strategic recommendations Handle client requests and ensure client satisfaction Help clients achieve their email marketing goals Requirements: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills Completion of Klaviyo Academy certifications Deep understanding of Klaviyo and e-commerce email marketing Strong knowledge of: Split testing (A/B testing) Deliverability optimization Email flow strategy List management and segmentation Conversion optimization Strong copywriting knowledge to effectively review and approve email campaigns Minimum 1 year of experience working with e-commerce brands Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining high-quality work Preferred Qualifications: Experience managing multiple Klaviyo accounts simultaneously Proven track record of increasing email revenue for e-commerce brands Strong analytical and reporting skills Experience leading email strategy for direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands
