Embedded Systems Engineer for Bluetooth & Satellite IoT Device

*** NOTICE: Executive execution of a comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is strictly mandatory prior to the disclosure of any proprietary technical specifications, project details, or architectural requirements. *** Project Description: We are seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Engineer to design the hardware architecture and initial firmware implementation for a specialized telemetry communication module. The primary core objective is to design an ultra-low-power interface capable of bridging short-range wireless data with commercial satellite IoT networks. Scope of Work & Deliverables (Milestone 1): 1. Complete Schematic Diagram: Digital schematics including optimized power management circuitry (3.7V Li-Po battery charging, regulation, and protection), MCU selection, BLE transceiver integration, and satellite modem interface. 2. PCB Layout: Design of a highly compact, multi-layer printed circuit board layout. Deliverables must include complete industrial production files (Gerber files, Excellon drill files, and native ECAD design files). 3. Bill of Materials (BOM): A structured spreadsheet detailing exact manufacturer part numbers, component footprints, and verified sourcing links. Technical Requirements: - Deep expertise in Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) hardware implementation (experience with Nordic Semiconductor nRF series is highly preferred). - Hands-on experience integrating satellite IoT transceivers (e.g., Iridium, RockBlock, or equivalent) via UART/SPI communication interfaces using standard AT command sets. - Advanced proficiency in low-power optimization techniques and high-frequency RF layout best practices. - Master level operations in standard ECAD suites (Altium Designer, KiCad, or Autodesk Eagle). The selected engineer will be required to sign a legally binding NDA before any project assets, functional requirements, or branding elements are shared.
