AI Engineer Needed to Build Document Processing & Information Extraction System

Summary We are looking for an AI Engineer to develop a document intelligence platform capable of extracting structured information from contracts, invoices, reports, and other business documents. The system combines OCR, machine learning, and large language models to automate document understanding, reduce manual review effort, and improve operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities * Build document ingestion and preprocessing pipelines * Implement OCR-based text extraction workflows * Design AI-powered information extraction systems * Develop validation and confidence-scoring mechanisms * Create automated evaluation frameworks for extraction quality * Analyze extraction accuracy and model performance * Document system architecture and evaluation methodologies Requirements * Strong Javascript development skills * Experience with OCR and document-processing pipelines * Understanding of machine learning and LLM-based extraction workflows * Experience working with structured and unstructured business documents Nice to Have * Experience with Azure AI services * Knowledge of document intelligence platforms * Experience building evaluation frameworks for AI systems
