Project Overview We operate as a luxury e-commerce brand where every micro-interaction matters. We are looking for a meticulous Quality Assurance Engineer to conduct a forensic audit of our entire digital storefront. Your objective is simple. Find every bug, identify every point of UX friction, and document them so our development team can execute the fixes. Scope of Work You will stress-test the entire website architecture. We need a comprehensive analysis of the user journey from the home page through the final checkout commitment. Core Responsibilities End-to-End Funnel Testing: Walk through the entire purchasing funnel multiple times using different user scenarios, cart configurations, and edge cases. Cross-Browser and Device Auditing: Verify flawless rendering and functionality across all major desktop and mobile browsers (Safari, Chrome, Firefox, Edge etc) and operating systems. Performance Diagnostics: Run deep analyses using Google PageSpeed Insights / console and core web vitals to identify loading friction, heavy scripts, or render-blocking assets keeping in mind shopify stores has their limitations. UX Friction Identification: Flag any broken links, elements, misaligned UI elements, unresponsive buttons, or confusing navigation logic that could cause a buyer to hesitate. Dynamic Component Verification: e..g Test the precise logic of dynamic pricing updates, sticky cart bars, collapsible accordions, and cart drawers. Expected Deliverable We require a highly structured, execution-ready QA report. Every identified issue must include the exact device environment, browser version, clear replication steps, and a screenshot or screen recording of the failure. Ideal Candidate Profile Extensive experience auditing high-volume , luxury e-commerce stores. Deep understanding of modern web architecture and Shopify environments. A forensic attention to detail. Proactive and analytical communication style.
