I need an AI engineer to build a production-grade RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) system that allows users to upload PDF documents and ask questions in natural language, receiving accurate answers with source citations. Requirements: - Multi-format document ingestion (PDF, DOCX, TXT) - Arabic and English language support - Hybrid search: BM25 + semantic embeddings - Cross-encoder reranking for accuracy - Source citation with document name and page number - JWT authentication with multi-tenant support - Async background processing with job status tracking - Query caching - FastAPI REST API backend - Observability and tracing Deliverables: - Complete source code on GitHub - Working API with documentation - README with setup instructions
