Engineering Drawings Required

JOB TITLE: Freelance Mechanical CAD Designer / Technical Drafting Expert (Engineering Drawings) JOB DESCRIPTION: We are looking for a skilled Mechanical CAD Designer/Technical Drafting Expert to create high-quality 2D engineering drawing sheets for a variety of industrial and engineering systems. The work covers domains such as telecommunications, RF, optical, aerospace, manufacturing, and process equipment. The ideal candidate should have experience producing professional engineering documentation with clean layouts, accurate dimensions, multiple views, section details, annotations, and BOMs. These are engineering drawings, not product renders or concept illustrations, so strong drafting skills and attention to detail are essential. Responsibilities 1. Create/Provide detailed engineering drawing sheets from provided topics and reference material. 2. Prepare/Provide orthographic, sectional, isometric, and detail views where required. 3. Add dimensions, callouts, annotations, and BOMs as appropriate. 4. Produce clean, professional, and varied drawing layouts (avoid repetitive templates). 5. Deliver editable CAD files along with PDF and high-resolution image exports. REQUIREMENTS Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar CAD software. Strong understanding of mechanical drafting and engineering drawing standards. Experience creating detailed technical documentation. Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
