English/Chinese Subtitle Creator

About the Role: I am looking for a reliable Subtitle Creator to help make video clips more accessible, polished, and easy to watch. The work involves creating both English and Chinese subtitles for content related to travel, cultural adaptation, and global experiences. Responsibilities: * Create accurate English subtitles from spoken English audio. * Create natural Chinese subtitles based on the English audio or English transcript. * Use subtitle, transcription, video editing, and AI tools when helpful to improve speed and accuracy. * Make sure subtitles are clear, natural, easy to read, and properly timed with the audio. * Check final subtitles for spelling, grammar, meaning, timing, and formatting. * Deliver subtitle files in the needed format, such as SRT. Requirements: * Strong English listening and writing skills. * Strong Chinese writing skills, with the ability to translate meaning naturally rather than word-for-word. * Good attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. * Experience with subtitle, transcription, translation, video editing, or AI tools is a plus. * Interest in travel, culture, storytelling, or personal growth is also a plus.
