English to German Gaming Translator

Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Gaming Localization Translator to join our team for ongoing game localization projects. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of professional experience translating gaming content and a strong understanding of gaming terminology and player expectations. Language Pair English →German Responsibilities Translate and localize game content while preserving tone, style, and context. Localize UI text, dialogues, quests, tutorials, achievements, in-game notifications, and marketing materials. Ensure translations are culturally appropriate and engaging for the target audience. Maintain consistency using client glossaries and style guides. Perform quality assurance and proofreading as required. Requirements Minimum 1 year of professional gaming localization experience. Proven experience working on one or more game localization projects. Excellent command of English and native-level fluency in German Experience using CAT tools (e.g., memoQ, Trados Studio, Phrase, Smartcat, Lokalise, or similar) is preferred.
