English/Reading Video Creator — Turn Prepared Slides into Recorded Lessons (Grades 6-8, ~15 Videos)
Worldwide
I run a test-prep platform for US middle school students and I’m looking for someone to turn my prepared lesson slides into simple screen-recorded teaching videos covering English and reading comprehension. What the job is I have all the material ready: slides, lesson plans, and a script/read-out for each topic. Your job is to screen record yourself going through the slides while explaining the material out loud, annotating and highlighting on screen where it helps. Each video covers a 6th-8th grade US English topic — reading comprehension, grammar, and related concepts — including walking through past practice problems. This is middle school level content, so nothing advanced. The most important requirement: how you sound These videos will be watched by 6th-8th grade students in the US. You must speak clear, fluent English with minimal accent. Since this is English and reading comprehension instruction specifically, your spoken English needs to be a model for the students — clear pronunciation and natural phrasing are essential. Students this age can struggle to follow heavy accents, so this is a firm requirement, not a preference. Just as important: you cannot sound like you’re reading off a script. I’ll give you the script and material, but you need to lightly improvise and actually teach — natural pacing, engaged tone, like a real tutor explaining a passage or concept to a student. Flat script-reading will not be accepted. Scope, pay, and timeline ∙ Around 15 videos to start ∙ This could grow into a bigger ongoing job if the videos are good ∙ Work on your own time and schedule, as long as everything is delivered within the next 3-4 weeks ∙ I provide everything: slides, lesson plans, scripts, and practice problems. You just record, explain, and annotate How to apply ∙ If you have any existing recordings or samples of you teaching or explaining something, include them — that’s the fastest way for me to evaluate you ∙ If you don’t have samples, record a quick 30-60 second video or audio clip explaining a simple English or reading concept, or introducing yourself and your qualifications. I want to hear your voice before hiring ∙ I can also provide material for you to create a short sample from If you’re comfortable on a microphone, can explain reading and grammar concepts clearly, and want straightforward work you can do on your own schedule, apply with a voice or video sample.
