English to PT-BR Translation Reviewer (MTPE) of SaaS Web Application

We run a multi-tenant web platform with content machine-translated from English into Brazilian Portuguese (pt-BR). We need a native pt-BR reviewer to verify and correct these ML translations in context, working directly in our web application interface—evaluating the on screen language for accuracy. This is a fixed-scope project. There may be follow-on work, but no commitment beyond the defined batch. SCOPE Using our web application, review screens and workflows that have been translated using Machine learning from it’s original English to pt-BR strings in our web platform, judging each against its UI context. Correct errors in meaning, grammar, terminology, register, and fluency. Resolve context-dependent issues: gender/number agreement, formality, ambiguous source phrasing, and idioms. Maintain consistency with our glossary; flag terms needing an entry. Respect technical constraints (string length, placeholders/variables, markup) so fixes don't break the UI. REQUIREMENTS Native or near-native Brazilian Portuguese; professional English. Proven MTPE / post-editing experience, ideally for software or web products. Experience with web application QA is an asset Solid localization judgment: register, pt-BR vs. pt-PT conventions, UI/UX copy norms. Effective communication skills Reliable with deadlines; self-managing in a remote setup. VOLUME ~Approx. 20 screens of platform UI There will also be 1 document (EULA) and screenshots of multiple emails & text messages for review.
