Environment Concept Artist / Background Designer 2D Tradigital "Build the stage where dreams resist"

We are developing an animated production set using a 1930s visual aesthetic. We are looking for an artist to design the interiors of an ancient and later demolished National Theater. The Role: Design the architectural world where our characters reside. Your focus is to capture the decay and the artistic soul of and old National Theater. Required Tasks: -Stage & Floor Design: Design the layout of the National Theater stage, emphasizing its ancient and decaying state. Focus on the texture of the wooden floorboards: worn, splintered, and uneven. Integrate canvas props (lienzos) some partially painted and others discarded that clutter the wings. -The Stage-Phone Integration: Design the specific section of the stage where an old public phone is mounted. The phone must feel like an organic part of the theater's cluttered, decaying set design, surrounded by overgrown indoor vegetation or potted trees that have reclaimed the stage wings. - The Grand Entrance & Foyer: Design the National Theater’s heavy double doors and the main access corridor. Include rows of vintage, velvet-upholstered theater seats spilling into the corridor some overturned, others dust-covered to suggest a space frozen in time. Focus on depth and atmospheric lighting to create a compelling transition between the outside world and this forgotten sanctuary. Technical Requirements: -Style: "Tradigital" (Hybrid). Visible brushwork, hand-drawn graphite textures, organic finishes. No flat vectors or sterile digital looks. -Deliverables: High-resolution .PSD files with layers organized (Background, Midground, Props/Atmosphere) for parallax animation.
