US FRAME FACTORY Job Description Position: Estimator Department: Estimation / Sales Support Reports To: Mateo Atwi, CEO Classification: Full-Time Salaried (W-2) Location: New Iberia, LA | usframefactory.com About US Frame Factory US Frame Factory is a fast-growing construction products manufacturer based in the Acadiana region of Louisiana. Position Summary The Estimator is a critical frontline role that converts customer construction plans into accurate, competitive material estimates that drive our sales pipeline. You will work closely with the sales team and leadership to ensure USFF can quote with speed and precision. This role demands intellectual rigor, a desire to master the craft of estimation, and the entrepreneurial initiative to help build and improve our systems as we scale. Core Responsibilities - Read and interpret customer construction plans and framing drawings - Produce detailed material takeoffs and quantity estimates from plans - Apply and develop the USFF estimating framework for consistent, accurate outputs - Understand scope and generic pricing for framing and construction products - Collaborate with the sales team to support quoting and customer communication - Contribute to project management support as needed - Assist with lead qualification and inquiry response when required - Perform tasks outside direct job description during high-demand periods Performance & Growth Milestones We invest in your development and set clear benchmarks: 3–4 Months - Complete a complex building takeoff at 90% accuracy, intermediate speed 12 Months - Complete complex full takeoffs at 100% accuracy, quick speed Beyond Year 1 - Career track into Estimation & Project Management Lead, or - Management track to help build and lead the estimating department Stretch Goals - Help build the framework for a Tier 1 estimating department - Develop technical product knowledge across USFF’s offerings - Assist sales team with project management and client relationships - Qualify leads and manage sales team and customer expectations What We’re Looking For - Initiative — you see what needs to be done and do it - Strong desire to learn and master estimation methodology - High attention to detail and comfort working with plans and numbers - Team-first mentality with excellent communication skills - Flexibility to take on evolving responsibilities in a growth environment - Results-focused mindset: we measure outputs, not just hours Work Expectations & Culture USFF is a small company where every employee carries immense weight.
