Estimator for Lighting & controls

Lighting Estimator (Professional) We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Lighting Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lighting systems and be proficient in reviewing architectural and electrical drawings to develop accurate project estimates. Key Responsibilities: Review and interpret lighting plans, specifications, and construction drawings Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for lighting fixtures, controls, and related materials Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for commercial and residential projects Collaborate with designers, contractors, and project managers to ensure project accuracy and feasibility Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining project quality and design intent Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lighting products, technologies, and industry standards Qualifications: Proven experience as a Lighting Estimator or similar role Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and electrical drawings Solid knowledge of lighting fixtures, controls, and systems High attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office (preferred) Preferred: Experience in commercial lighting projects Familiarity with lighting controls and energy codes
