European Portuguese Speaking Club Teacher

We are looking for a friendly and engaging European Portuguese teacher to run online speaking clubs for adult learner during July – early August 2026. The speaking clubs are designed for adult learners who need Portuguese for everyday communication, relocation, workplace situations, and building confidence in speaking. What you will do You will conduct 60-minute online speaking clubs using an interactive presentation. The lessons should be practical, dynamic, and focused mainly on speaking practice. Students should have enough time to talk, ask questions, practise real-life situations, and feel more confident using Portuguese. Each speaking club should include: * warm-up activities * useful vocabulary for real communication * discussion questions * pair/group speaking tasks * role plays or workplace/everyday situations * short feedback and language support * a clear structure with smooth transitions between activities Lesson materials and presentation preparation The teacher will be responsible for creating the presentation for each speaking club independently. We expect the teacher to be able to prepare interactive, speaking-focused presentations using AI tools such as **Claude, ChatGPT, or other lesson-planning tools. The presentation should be suitable for adult learners and should include a clear lesson structure, engaging speaking tasks, practical vocabulary, role-play situations, and enough opportunities for students to speak. Groups and schedule We are looking for a teacher who can work with one or several groups from the schedule below. All times are in Portugal time. * Wednesday & Friday, 12:00–13:00 — B1 level * Wednesday & Friday, 14:00–15:00 — B1 level * Tuesday & Thursday, 11:00–12:00 — A2 level * Tuesday & Friday, 16:00–197:00 — A1 level
