Marine EVA Flooring Designer (Contract/Part-Time) About the role: We are seeking a skilled CAD draftsman to help design custom EVA foam boat flooring. This is contract-based, project-by-project work with ongoing opportunities. What you'll do: • Design custom EVA foam flooring mockups and layouts for various boat models • Create production-ready files for CNC • Create installation templates and cut files • Work with boat hull measurements and deck contours • Iterate designs based on feedback Required skills: • Expert-level CAD software (AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar) • Experience preparing files for CNC manufacturing • Understanding of manufacturing tolerances for foam cutting • Bonus: Marine industry experience or boat deck familiarity Project volume: 2-5 projects per month initially, with potential to scale. Each project typically takes 2-4 hours.
