Event Waiver Web Application
Worldwide
Overview ========= We are looking for an experienced web developer to build a clean, simple, and professional web application that allows event visitors to digitally sign a waiver before taking part in an activation. The app needs to work on both desktop and mobile browsers. Visitor-Facing Flow ------------------------ Visitors will land on a branded waiver page where they enter their name and email address, read the waiver copy, tick to confirm they have read and agree to the terms, draw their signature, and opt in or out of marketing communications. On successful submission they will see a confirmation page showing a success message, a tick, a unique QR code and a timestamp - which event staff can use to verify participation. Waiver Signing ------------------- Each signed waiver must be saved as a tamper-evident PDF containing the full waiver text as it appeared at the time of signing, the visitor's name, email address and drawn signature, an exact timestamp and IP address, and a unique submission reference number. This ensures legal compliance and creates a clear audit trail. The waiver content must be versioned so that if the copy is updated, existing submissions remain tied to the version the visitor actually signed. Admin Panel ---------------- The application will include a backend admin panel where clients can create and manage multiple waivers. Per waiver, the client should be able to: Give the waiver a name Upload a logo Set a colour scheme Paste in waiver/T&C copy Customise the marketing opt-in text Customise the success page message Add up to 5 language versions by pasting in translated copy for each Generate a unique QR code automatically per waiver Clients should also be able to view all submissions per waiver and batch download signed PDFs at any point. Tech Stack -------------- We have no strong preference on stack but would expect a modern, maintainable framework. The application should be lightweight, fast on mobile, and straightforward to host and maintain. Please include your recommended approach in your proposal. What We're Looking For ------------------------------ Please include in your proposal: your recommended tech stack and approach, examples of similar projects, your estimated timeline, and a fixed price or detailed breakdown. We will provide all dev ready artwork in Figma. APPLY VIA UPWORK POST ONLY - ANY DIRECT CONTACT WILL BE BLOCKED, thanks
