Position: Executive Assistant to the CEO Location: Fully Remote Hours: 30 hours per week Pay: Approximately $8 - $10 per hour (depending on experience) We are a Las Vegas-based nonprofit focused on homelessness prevention and supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness. Through food assistance, essential services, housing-related support, and community-centered programs, we help people meet immediate needs while working toward long-term stability. We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, and highly organized Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the CEO. This individual will play a key role in administrative operations, meeting coordination, presentation creation, and daily executive communications. The ideal candidate is located in the US, ideally a US citizen, or must be fully fluent in English (C2 level), tech-savvy, proactive, a strong communicator, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support - Manage executive calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements - Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and track follow-ups - Monitor and manage executive email inboxes and respond on behalf of the CEO when appropriate - Handle document creation, filing, and database management - Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion Communications & Presentation Support - Assist with planning and coordinating events, webinars, or workshops - Help create visually appealing presentations using Canva or PowerPoint for internal and external use - Write or edit copy for internal and external communications - Prepare documents, reports, and meeting materials as needed - Ensure presentations and materials are organized, professional, and easy to understand Partner Support - Assist in the preparation of proposals, pitch decks, and reports - Help follow up with potential clients, partners, donors, or community contacts via email and/or Zoom Digital Meetings & Collaboration - Set up and manage Zoom meetings, including preparing materials and providing basic tech support - Coordinate with team members, vendors, partners, or clients as needed - Support internal communication and collaboration tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, Monday.com, or similar platforms - Help keep projects, conversations, deadlines, and follow-ups organized Qualifications: - Strong organizational and time management skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience managing calendars, emails, meetings, and follow-ups - Comfortable using Canva, PowerPoint, Google Workspace, Zoom, and similar tools - Ability to work independently in a fully remote role - Proactive, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks at once - Strong attention to detail - Ability to handle confidential information professionally - Experience with CRM systems, email platforms, or project management tools is a plus - Nonprofit experience is helpful but not required The ideal candidate is dependable, resourceful, and comfortable supporting a busy executive with a wide range of administrative, communication, and coordination needs. This person should be able to stay organized, communicate professionally, follow through on tasks, and help keep daily operations moving smoothly.
