We are an established management consulting firm that helps large trade associations drive revenue growth, strengthen member engagement, improve retention, and create greater value through strategic growth consulting and executive advisory services. We are seeking an experienced U.S.-based Business Development professional to conduct a 30-day pilot project focused on executive outreach and appointment setting. Our ideal clients are CEOs and senior executives of large healthcare trade associations. We are not targeting clubs, medical societies, state associations, or organizations with fewer than 500 members. This is not a high-volume cold-calling campaign. Success will come from thoughtful research, carefully selected target organizations, personalized outreach, and meaningful conversations that result in qualified executive appointments. We are looking for someone who thinks strategically about business development, not simply someone who makes outbound calls. Our goal during this pilot is to schedule approximately six highly qualified executive appointments. We value quality over quantity and would rather have six excellent meetings than dozens of unqualified leads. Scope of Work The selected freelancer will: Build or provide a targeted prospect database Identify CEOs and senior executive decision-makers Execute professional, compliant outbound outreach Help evaluate the effectiveness of executive outreach strategies, including phone outreach where appropriate Recommend additional outreach methods when appropriate Schedule highly qualified executive appointments Compliance Is Important Applicants should have a strong understanding of applicable federal and state regulations related to B2B outbound calling and appointment setting. Please explain how you ensure your outreach remains professional, compliant, ethical, and low risk. Requirements: You must be located in the United States with a verifiable U.S. presence. We want to work directly with the individual performing the work. We are not interested in agencies, call centers, outsourced teams, white-label providers, or lead brokers. We do not pay setup fees. We work exclusively on a fixed-price, flat-fee basis and do not pay hourly. Please include your flat-fee pricing for this 30-day pilot and clearly explain what is included. We do not enter into long-term agreements or automatic renewals. If this pilot is successful, there is significant opportunity for ongoing work and additional projects.
