Experienced Bookeeper

We are looking for a highly experienced and reliable bookkeeper to organise, clean up, and manage the books for multiple businesses using QuickBooks. Strong QuickBooks experience is essential. You must be organised, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and confident managing several businesses at once. Key Responsibilities * Organise and clean up existing QuickBooks accounts * Manage bookkeeping across multiple businesses * Accurately categorise income, expenses, transfers, assets, liabilities, and other transactions * Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards * Identify and correct errors, duplicates, and incorrect categorisations * Maintain accurate records and supporting documents * Prepare Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and other reports * Understand basic tax principles and how transactions should generally be assigned * Flag anything that requires an accountant or tax professional rather than guessing Requirements * Proven QuickBooks experience – mandatory * Strong professional bookkeeping experience * Experience managing multiple businesses/entities * Good understanding of bookkeeping, accounting, and tax-related categorisation * Ability to clean up messy or outdated books * Excellent attention to detail * Reliable, trustworthy, organised, and responsive Ideal Candidate We want someone who does more than data entry.
