Summary

I am a real estate investor owner recently selected for a Small Businesses Program. As part of the interview and onboarding process, I must provide up‑to‑date and accurate financials. My QuickBooks Online account currently has no entries recorded for January through May, and I need a skilled bookkeeper to bring everything current within 7 days. This project requires accuracy, speed, and strong attention to detail. If you cannot meet the deadline, please do not apply. Project Scope The bookkeeper will be responsible for completing five months of full bookkeeping catch‑up in QuickBooks Online, plus preparing 2025 full‑year financial statements. Responsibilities include: Business data accuracy — Ensuring all company information, settings, and financial details are correct Chart of Accounts review — Cleaning, organizing, and optimizing the COA for proper categorization Monthly reconciliations — Reconciling all bank, credit card, and payment accounts for January–May Transaction categorization — Categorizing all income, expenses, transfers, and owner activity Duplicate/erroneous entry cleanup — Identifying and correcting errors Vendor and customer review — Ensuring names, details, and balances are correct Financial statement accuracy — Producing accurate Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports for January–May 2025 Full‑Year Financials — Preparing a complete 2025 Profit & Loss Statement and 2025 Balance Sheet to support program requirements Final review & reporting — Delivering clean, audit‑ready financials for the program interview Timeline & Deliverables Start Date: Immediately Deadline: June 17, 2026 Deliverables: Reconciled books for January–May Updated Chart of Accounts Clean, accurate P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements for January–May 2025 Full‑Year Profit & Loss Statement 2025 Full‑Year Balance Sheet Summary of any issues found and recommendations Trial Phase (January Only) You will first be assigned January as a paid test month to confirm accuracy, speed, and communication. If the work is satisfactory, you will be granted access to complete February–May and the 2025 year‑end statements. Ongoing Opportunity If your work is accurate and timely, I may offer a 12‑month bookkeeping contract for ongoing monthly maintenance. Requirements QuickBooks Online expertise (3+ years preferred) Experience with catch‑up bookkeeping and multi‑month cleanup projects Ability to work quickly without sacrificing accuracy Strong communication and availability during the 7‑day project window Commitment to confidentiality and data security Preferred Skills Familiarity with small business financials Ability to identify inconsistencies and propose corrections Experience preparing financials for lenders, grants, or business programs To Apply Please provide: A brief summary of your experience Examples of past cleanup or catch‑up projects Your availability to begin immediately Confirmation that you can meet the June 17 deadline
