Experienced CAD Designer Needed for Caravan & Camper Trailer Development

We're looking for an experienced CAD designer or product design engineer to work with us on the ongoing development of premium caravans and pod campers. This is not simply a drafting role. We need someone who can collaborate with our team to improve existing designs, develop new concepts, and ensure every design is practical, functional, and ready for manufacture. The work will include: Refining and improving current caravan and pod camper designs. Developing new layouts and product concepts from sketches and discussions. Creating accurate 3D CAD models and assemblies. Producing detailed manufacturing drawings with all required dimensions and specifications. Recommending design improvements for functionality, manufacturability, strength, weight, and ease of assembly. Participating in regular Zoom meetings to review designs and work through ideas together. Updating drawings and models as changes are made throughout the development process. We're looking for someone who has: - Strong experience using CAD software - Experience designing manufactured products, ideally in automotive, RV, trailer, marine, or sheet metal fabrication. - A good understanding of fabrication, CNC manufacturing, welding, and production methods. - The ability to think beyond simply drawing parts and contribute practical engineering solutions. - Excellent communication skills and fluent English. This will be an ongoing relationship for the right person. We're building several new products and want someone who can become part of our extended development team.
