Experienced CAD Jewelry Designer & 3D Renderer

About This Role: We are seeking an experienced CAD designer with a strong background in fine jewelry and goldsmithing to create detailed 3D models and hyper-realistic renders for our luxury jewelry brand. You will be responsible for translating design concepts into production-ready CAD files and delivering photorealistic visualizations for presentations, marketing, and manufacturing. Key Responsibilities: - Create detailed 3D CAD models of fine jewelry pieces (rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.) - Produce hyper-realistic renders suitable for e-commerce, lookbooks, and editorial use - Manage stone specifications, dimensions, and gemstone placement with precision - Develop technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing - Collaborate on design refinements and iterations - Ensure all files are optimized for 3D printing, CNC cutting, and casting - Maintain detailed documentation of design parameters and material specifications Required Experience: - Minimum 3+ years professional CAD design experience in fine jewelry - Proven goldsmithing or jewelry craftsmanship background - Expert knowledge of stone sizing, gemstone dimensions, and setting techniques - Proficiency in professional CAD software (Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD, or similar) - Advanced rendering skills (V-Ray, KeyShot, or equivalent) producing gallery-quality output - Experience with precious metals (gold, silver, platinum) and their properties - Understanding of manufacturing processes and production constraints - Portfolio demonstrating hyper-realistic renders and completed fine jewelry projects Technical Requirements: - Fluency with 3D modeling software for jewelry - Ability to work with STL/STP files for 3D printing and CNC production - Experience creating both artistic renders and technical production drawings - Knowledge of gemstone grading, sizing, and setting security - Capability to deliver files in multiple formats as needed What We're Looking For: - A detail-oriented professional who understands both the artistic and technical sides of fine jewelry - Someone with genuine goldsmith/jewelry background (not just CAD training) - An artist who can deliver photorealistic work that captures luxury and craftsmanship - A reliable, communicative partner who can manage revisions and feedback - Commitment to excellence and meeting deadlines Application Requirements: To be considered for this role, please provide: 1.
