Experienced Engineer with GKE, Github actions, terraform & Jenkins

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, your primary focus will be on modernizing, optimizing, and scaling our CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions, while managing robust, enterprise-grade cloud environments. You will be responsible for orchestrating containerized infrastructure on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), provisioning secure infrastructure-as-code via Terraform, and supporting existing automation frameworks. This role requires exceptional problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of cloud platforms, and a strong foundation in Linux environments. Responsibilities: Pipeline Automation: Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure CI/CD pipelines primarily utilizing GitHub Actions; support and migrate legacy pipelines in Jenkins where necessary. Infrastructure as Code: Provision, manage, and automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform to ensure reproducible and reliable environments. Container Orchestration: Deploy, scale, and maintain containerized applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). Systems Engineering: Manage and tune underlying Linux server configurations to ensure high availability, security, and peak performance. Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering teams to optimize software delivery, performance, and infrastructure scalability. Technical Skills: Required: CI/CD: GitHub Actions (Expert/Primary), Jenkins (Proficient) Containerization & Orchestration: Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) / Kubernetes Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, or similar enterprise distributions) Nice to Have / Desired: Experience with Red Hat OpenShift cluster management and application deployment. Familiarity with hybrid-cloud or multi-cloud deployment strategies.
