Experienced Freelance CAD Designer – Pet Bed Category

We are a growing Home Textiles company seeking an experienced Freelance CAD Designer with a strong background in the Pet Bed category to support our product development team on a project and ongoing freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience creating pet bed designs, technical CADs, colorways, print artwork, and factory-ready development packages. This is a remote freelance position with flexible hours. Responsibilities: Create original pet bed designs, CADs, and product concepts Develop colorways, print layouts, renderings, and product mockups Create and manipulate print and pattern artwork Prepare factory-ready artwork and development packages Collaborate with product development and merchandising teams Research market trends, colors, materials, and pet category innovations Revise and update artwork based on customer and factory feedback Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Textile Design, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, or related field preferred Minimum 3 years of experience designing products within the Pet category, specifically pet beds Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop required) Advanced experience with Netgraphics Expert-level CAD skills, including colorways, renderings, and product mockups Experience developing products directly with overseas factories Strong understanding of textiles, fabrications, printing techniques, and product construction Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong knowledge of current home and pet industry trends Position Details: Freelance / Contract Position Remote Work Flexible Schedule Compensation based on experience and project scope To apply, please submit: Resume Portfolio showcasing pet bed designs and CAD work Netgraphics examples (if available) Freelance rate or salary requirements
