We are looking for an experienced cold caller to contact small business owners in the United States and schedule qualified appointments on my calendar. About Us We work with small home service businesses such as: -HVAC companies -Plumbing companies -Electrical contractors -Roofers Many of these businesses are owner-operated and owner is often responsible for not only doing the work but also answering phones, scheduling jobs, following up with customers, and handling administrative tasks. We help business owners get those responsibilities off their plate without the cost of hiring a full-time office employee. Your Role You will be provided with a list of businesses to call. Your job is to: -Speak with business owners -Learn how they currently handle calls, scheduling, customer follow-up, and office work -Identify whether they may be a fit for our service -Schedule qualified 15-minute appointments on my calendar -Keep notes on conversations and outcomes This is a conversational role. We are not looking for someone who sounds like a call center agent reading a script. Ideal Candidate -Perfect English -Ability to sound natural when calling, not like a salesperson, able to overcome a business owner who thinks you are another person wasting their time -Records call outcomes specifically so we can try them again from a different angle. Compensation -$10/hour -$25 bonus for each qualified appointment that attends the scheduled meeting A qualified appointment is one where: -The owner attends the call -The call lasts at least 10 minutes -The business fits our target market To Apply Please include: 1. Any appointment-setting results you have achieved in previous roles Please also record yourself delivering the following opening: "Hey, is this the owner?" "Quick question—do you have someone handling the office side of the business, or are you still pretty involved in calls, scheduling, and admin yourself?" We are looking for someone who sounds natural, confident, and comfortable speaking with business owners.
