Product Designer (Physical Product) Title: Experienced Product Designer Needed — Miswak Holder / Case About the Project: We are developing a premium physical product: a Miswak holder/case designed to be carried daily. This is a full product design role — not graphic design. The product must be functional, durable, and aesthetically fitting for modern lifestyle users. The Core Task: Design a Miswak holder that seamlessly integrates into the daily life of 3 distinct user avatars: Avatar 1 — The On-the-Go Professional (Male) A salesperson or business networker always on the road. Carries business cards, visits clients constantly, socializes frequently. His essentials: mobile phone, small notebook. The Miswak holder must fit naturally into his pocket, bag, or alongside his daily carry items. Avatar 2 — The Active Lifestyle Woman A woman with a structured daily routine — gym, Pilates, swimming, café work sessions. Carries a small bag with her laptop and notebook. The holder must be compact, elegant, and easy to access on the go. Avatar 3 — The Hybrid User A mix of both avatars above. The design must serve this middle-ground persona equally well. Product Requirements: Small and compact — fits in a pocket, small bag, or alongside a notebook/mobile Durable materials — must withstand daily use, movement, and varying environments Easy to clean and hygienic Aesthetically premium — suitable for professional and lifestyle settings Must protect the Miswak and keep it fresh What We Need From You: Full product design (form, material, dimensions, functionality) Material research — durability and hygiene are key priorities User research aligned with the 3 avatars above Prototyping concepts, sketches, and/or 3D renders Requirements: Proven experience in physical product design Strong portfolio with real-world consumer products Ability to conduct independent material and market research Detail-oriented with understanding of everyday carry (EDC) products Proposal Instructions: Share a similar product you've designed before Explain how you approach designing for a specific user avatar Describe your material selection and research process
