Experienced QuickBooks Bookkeeper

We’re looking for an experienced and reliable bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks experience to help clean up, organise, and maintain the accounting books for our businesses. We currently have a number of small businesses that need bookkeeping work, so this has the potential to become a long-term, ongoing position with plenty of work for the right person. Initial work will include: * Reviewing and cleaning up existing QuickBooks accounts * Organising transactions and correcting categorisation issues * Bank and credit card reconciliations * Identifying duplicate, missing, or incorrectly entered transactions * Cleaning up the Chart of Accounts * Reviewing accounts receivable and accounts payable * Making sure the books are accurate, organised, and up to date * Preparing the accounts so they are easy for management/accountants to review * Ongoing bookkeeping and maintenance once the clean-up is complete What we’re looking for: * Strong experience with QuickBooks / QuickBooks Online * Proven experience cleaning up messy or outdated bookkeeping * Excellent attention to detail * Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles * Able to work independently and identify problems without needing constant direction * Reliable communication and ability to meet deadlines * Experience working with multiple small businesses is highly preferred We are not looking for someone who is just learning QuickBooks. We want someone experienced who can look at a set of books, understand what needs fixing, and confidently get everything organised. There is a lot of ongoing work available across our businesses.
