Experienced QuickBooks Online Bookkeeper Needed for Ongoing Bookkeeping Support

I am an experienced bookkeeper/accounting consultant looking for a reliable and detail-oriented bookkeeper to assist me with my own bookkeeping as well as bookkeeping for several of my clients. This is intended to be an ongoing working relationship for the right person. I am looking for someone who can take direction, work independently, pay close attention to detail, and ask questions rather than make assumptions when something is unclear. QuickBooks Online experience is required. You should be comfortable working in multiple company files and understand proper bookkeeping procedures, not simply data entry. Responsibilities may include: Entering and categorizing bank and credit card transactions Reconciling bank and credit card accounts Reviewing bank feeds and matching transactions Identifying duplicate or incorrectly categorized transactions Cleaning up and maintaining the Chart of Accounts Reviewing accounts receivable and accounts payable Entering bills and expenses Making basic journal entries when appropriate Reviewing Balance Sheet accounts for accuracy Assisting with month-end bookkeeping Preparing and reviewing Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports Working from spreadsheets and supporting documentation Researching transactions and flagging items that require client clarification Assisting with bookkeeping clean-up projects Maintaining accurate records across multiple client companies Requirements - You must: Have strong, hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online Have a solid understanding of basic accounting and bookkeeping principles Be proficient in bank and credit card reconciliations Be comfortable working with Excel and/or Google Sheets Speak and write English proficiently Be highly detail-oriented and organized Be able to follow written and oral instructions carefully Be comfortable asking questions when something does not make sense Maintain strict confidentiality with client financial information Be dependable and communicate promptly regarding questions or delays Experience with QuickBooks Online Payroll, Expensify, Bill.com, Gusto, or other accounting/payroll platforms is a plus, but not required. Because you will be working with client financial records, accuracy is extremely important. I am not looking for someone who simply assigns categories to transactions to clear the bank feed. I want someone who understands how transactions affect the financial statements and recognizes when something does not look right.
