Experienced Revit Modeler Needed – Existing Conditions Residential Model (California Standards)

**Project Overview** Seeking an experienced Revit modeler to create an Existing Conditions Revit model for a residential property located in California. This is not a design project. The objective is to accurately translate existing conditions into a professionally organized Revit model suitable for use by a California-based architectural firm for renovation and design work. The majority of the field documentation has already been completed and organized. **Documentation Provided** The selected freelancer will receive: * As-built AutoCAD drawings with field dimensions already integrated * Existing CAD floor plans and related drawings * Existing SketchUp model that may be used as a reference for geometry verification and supplemental dimensions * Comprehensive photo documentation * Video walkthroughs of the property * Notes regarding materials and finishes * Door and window information * Locations of outlets, switches, lighting fixtures, plumbing fixtures, and appliances * Roof information and field notes * Additional survey notes as required *Samples of previous surveys to set standard The intent is to minimize field interpretation and allow the Revit model to be developed efficiently from well-documented existing conditions. **Scope of Work** Create an Existing Conditions Revit model including: * Interior and exterior walls (generic wall types) * Floors and floor elevations * Ceilings and ceiling elevations * Dropped ceilings where applicable * Doors and windows with approximate sizes and types * Stairs including riser and tread configuration * Built-in millwork (generic modeling) * Plumbing fixtures * Appliances * Room names/tags * Levels and stories * Roof geometry, slopes, and roof types * Major visible structural elements where documented * General utility and equipment locations as indicated in field notes **Deliverables** * Revit (.RVT) model * PDF drawings, floor plans, elevation, etc * Clean and organized project file * Properly named levels, views, rooms, and model elements * Model suitable for use by a California-based architectural firm * Deliverable ready for future renovation and design work **Required Qualifications** * Strong Revit modeling experience * Experience creating Existing Conditions architectural models * Ability to work from CAD drawings, photos, videos, SketchUp models, and field notes * Strong attention to detail * Excellent written communication in English **U.S. Architectural Standards Required** This project will be used by a California architectural firm and must follow typical U.S. architectural documentation standards. Applicants should be familiar with: * U.S. residential construction terminology * California architectural documentation practices * Architectural Revit workflows used by U.S. firms * Imperial units (feet and inches) * Existing Conditions documentation standards All project information must be organized and delivered in English, including: * Level names * View names * Room names * Family names * Parameters * Notes * Model organization The final model should reflect the quality and organization standards expected by a professional architectural firm in California. **Schedule** This project is time-sensitive. The selected freelancer must be able to begin immediately and complete the model within **one week or less** from receipt of the project files.
