Experienced Social Media Editor

We're looking for a part-time Video Editor with strong image editing skills to create polished, on-brand, content for our social media channels. You'll turn raw footage and photos into engaging short-form videos, reels, and posts that are ready to publish across platforms. Responsibilities: • Edit raw video footage into polished, social-ready content (reels, shorts, stories, feed posts) • Retouch, resize, and enhance images for use across social platforms • Add captions, subtitles, transitions, motion graphics, and sound to match brand style • Ensure all content is safe-for-work, on-brand, and platform-appropriate • Collaborate on content ideas and repurpose long-form content into short-form clips • Organize and manage media files and project assets • Deliver content on schedule to support a consistent posting calendar Requirements: • Proven experience editing video for social media (portfolio or reel required) • Strong image editing skills (Photoshop, Canva, Lightroom, or similar) • Proficiency with video editing software (Premiere Pro, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro) • Understanding of formatting and trends for soc med platforms. • Good eye for pacing, visual storytelling, and brand consistency • Reliable, organized, and able to meet deadlines
