Experienced Structural 3D Designer

We need an experienced structural designer to make modifications to the 3D model and 2D structural steel and concrete foundation drawings of an existing steel structure. The structural steel that you will revise is approximately 20’ x 20’ x 100’ high. The selected designer must be capable of independently performing all the 3D model revisions and the 2D CAD revisions necessary to complete the drawings and produce construction ready drawings with little guidance. Your work will be checked and approved by a licensed professional engineer, and you must be prepared to answer any questions by the engineer. This project requires the use of either Advance Steel (The program) or Revit together with AutoCAD. We will provide you with both the 3D model and the 2D drawings in AutoCAD for you to import in Advance Steel or Revit and make the modifications. You will also be required to export the revised 3D model to AutoCAd when complete and produce the 2D AutoCAD drawings. You must have access to a recent version of either Advance Steel or Revit and AutoCAD to be considered. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in structural steel and concrete modeling and design. Please provide the items listed below to be considered for this project. Provide Below: 1) Your profile or resume, highlighting your experience working on similar projects. 2) 2 samples of your past structural steel and concrete 3D model and 2D drawings 3) The engineering drawings and details that accompany the 2 samples above Scope of Work: We will provide you with both a 3D model and 2D drawings of the existing structure in AutoCAD and you will: 1) Import the 3D model drawing into Advance Steel or Revit software 2) Revise the 3D model in Advance Steel/Revit program with the directed changes 3) Revise the 2D drawings in AutoCAD to reflect the revisions you make on the 3D model 4) Prepare and provide the final Construction drawings incorporating the changes Deliverables: 1) The revised 3D model in Advance Steel or Revit original files 2) The exported 3D model of the revisions in AutoCAD 3) The revised 2D drawings in AutoCAD showing all the changes 4) The final construction drawings incorporating all of the revisions. Qualifications You must be proficient in Advance Steel or Revit and AutoCAD software and have access to a recent version of the programs.
