Hello and welcome, We are a YouTube Automation company and we are looking for a talented, hard-working, and experienced Video Editor to join our team. Our YouTube channel focused on high-quality, fast-paced, and cinematic horror content. Including rankings, scene breakdowns, and thematic compilations of iconic horror moments. The channel centers on engaging, visually driven storytelling around classic horror characters, striking film scenes, and unique horror tropes. Responsibilities: ● Edit high–quality horror videos (8–10 minutes) that deliver tension, atmosphere, and cinematic intensity. Combining archival footage, horror film scenes, visual effects, animated elements, and seamless transitions. ● Work with scripts and voiceovers to create gripping, suspense-driven, and visually compelling narratives that captivate viewers from the very first second. ● Use Eleven Laps and ensure that every voice-over perfectly matches the video’s pacing, mood, and emotional intensity. ● Research and source royalty-free horror footage, images, sound effects, and dark, atmospheric background music that fits each topic perfectly. ● Add professional motion graphics, shock effects, eerie text animations, and stylized horror titles to enhance the overall production quality. ● Ensure all videos are optimized for YouTube, including pacing, formatting, retention-focused intros, and a carefully structured tension curve. What we’re looking for: ● You have proven experience in editing YouTube videos, ideally within the horror genre (please provide examples of your work). ● You understand visual storytelling, pacing, tension-building, and audience retention, and you know how to craft horror scenes that keep viewers immersed and on edge. ● You have experience working with voice-overs, syncing narration precisely with visuals, atmosphere, and timing to maximize emotional and cinematic impact. ● You are genuinely passionate about horror, psychological tension, eerie sound design, and classic cinematic techniques that enhance fear and suspense. ● You can work consistently and reliably and meet deadlines. ● Creativity, attention to detail, and consistency ● Ability to collaborate with our team on a long-term basis What we offer: ● Long-term collaboration (we are looking for a dedicated editor, not just a one-time assignment) ● 1–2 videos per week ● Fast and fair payment per video ● Clear guidelines and friendly, pleasant communication ● The chance to become part of a growing, passionate team.
