Hi everyone! We are a professional YouTube company looking for a talented, detail-oriented, and experienced Video Editor for a long-term collaboration. About the Project & Our Niche We do not run a classic, colorful "Food Explainer" channel. Our focus is on investigative infotainment and consumer intelligence regarding the global food industry. We uncover the tricks, fakes, and global supply chains behind our food (Style: High-quality, investigative mini-documentaries). What We Are Looking For (Your Editing Philosophy) We distance ourselves completely from hyperactive, high-stimulation editing ("ADHD style"). If your style consists of constant zooms, flashy pop-ups, and sound effects every 2 seconds, this is not the right job for you. We are looking for: Cinematic Pacing & Storytelling: You know how to let scenes breathe, create atmosphere, and build tension purely through deliberate visual choices and a smart narrative arc. Premium Footage & Editorial Eye: You have access to high-quality stock platforms (e.g., Storyblocks, Artgrid, Filmsupply) and take the time to hunt for truly matching, atmospheric, and realistic clips. We do not want cheesy, artificial-looking standard stock footage. Investigative Vibe: You have an excellent eye for picking atmospheric B-roll, archival footage, and skillfully integrating text overlays or graphics that visually back up our findings. Sophisticated Sound Design & Color Grading: Cinematic color profiles (serious, documentary look) and purposeful audio design rather than happy background music. Language Requirement (German / English) The final video will feature a German voiceover. You will, of course, receive the German script alongside a full English translation. You must be highly proficient and experienced in editing videos in a foreign language (German), ensuring that the timing, cuts, and emphasis perfectly match the visual elements.
