Experienced Wedding Album Designer

We are looking for an experienced wedding album designer to support our boutique album concierge business serving professional wedding photographers and their clients. This is a contract position with flexible, project-based work (typically 5–8 hours/week as needed). We are not looking for a general graphic designer, VA, or someone interested in learning album design from scratch. We are looking for a specialist who already has experience designing wedding albums using SmartAlbums. REQUIREMENTS Please apply only if you: -- Have extensive experience designing wedding albums for professional photographers -- Have an active subscription to SmartAlbums and are proficient in the software -- Understand the natural flow of an American wedding day and how to tell a visual story through album design -- Have experience working with luxury or editorial wedding photography -- Have a strong eye for composition, balance, pacing, and storytelling -- Are comfortable working independently and delivering polished, client-ready designs' OUR DESIGN STYLE Our albums are: -- Editorial -- Timeless -- Minimal -- Emotionally driven -- Quality over quantity WE PRIORITIZE -- Strong image selection -- Clean layouts -- Thoughtful use of white space -- Symmetry in collages -- Visual storytelling over simply including more images Examples of our design style will be shared with selected candidates. SCOPE OF WORK - This role is focused on initial album design only. Responsibilities may include: -- Curating images from wedding galleries -- Designing complete wedding albums in SmartAlbums -- Creating cohesive visual stories that reflect both the photographer's style and the client's experience At this time, this position does not include revision management, project management, or client communication.
