Experienced YouTube Editor Wanted – Storytelling, Retention & Entertainment We are looking for a talented YouTube editor to join our growing team and help create highly engaging long-form content. Our content includes adventure videos, challenges, comedy, vlogs, mystery, and story-driven entertainment. We are looking for someone who understands YouTube and knows how to turn raw footage into videos that keep viewers watching. This is more than a basic editing role. We are looking for someone who understands storytelling, pacing, audience engagement, and what makes people stay on a video. ## What We're Looking For The ideal candidate has experience with: * YouTube long-form content * Storytelling and story structure * Strong video hooks * Audience retention * Pacing and timing * Humor and comedic timing * Re-engagement techniques * Sound design and music selection * Motion graphics and visual enhancements You should understand how to identify the strongest moments in a video, remove unnecessary moments, and create a viewing experience that feels fast-paced, entertaining, and rewarding. ## Bonus Experience We would love to find someone familiar with concepts such as: * Open loops * Payoffs * Viewer psychology * ABC Storytelling * Modern YouTube retention strategies ## Responsibilities * Edit long-form YouTube videos * Build strong openings and hooks * Highlight humor and reactions * Improve pacing and overall flow * Add graphics, sound effects, music, and visual elements when appropriate * Help maximize audience retention and watch time * Collaborate with our team to continually improve content ## Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: * Creative * Dependable * Communicative * Passionate about YouTube * Open to feedback * Interested in becoming part of a growing creator team Bonus Experience We'd love to find someone who enjoys and understands the pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement styles used by creators such as: MrBeast Ryan Trahan Jordan Matter Faze Rug This position has the potential to become a long-term role for the right person. ## To Apply Please include: 1.
