About the Role We are a fast-growing e-commerce business looking for an experienced, highly capable operations professional to become the operational backbone of our store. This is NOT an entry-level, task-based position. We want someone with a proven e-commerce track record who can take ownership from day one, run the day-to-day operation independently, and grow — based on performance — into an Operations Manager who leads a team and reports directly to the founder. Growth Path - Now: full ownership of the operation — customer service, product listings, orders, supplier communication and reporting. - Performance-driven: as you prove yourself, your responsibility and scope expand. No fixed timeline — growth is earned through results. - The goal: grow into an Operations Manager who builds and leads a team. Core Responsibilities - Customer service: managing inbound emails, handling inquiries and disputes professionally - Product listing: accurately listing products in Shopify based on provided input - Order & supply chain management: tracking orders, flagging issues, coordinating with suppliers - Supplier communication: direct contact with suppliers and account managers in English - Process building: proactively setting up templates and SOPs where none exist yet - Reporting: structured check-ins on Monday (week start) and Friday (week close) What We Are Looking For - Proven e-commerce experience — this is our most important criterion. You have done this before, ideally across multiple stores, and can point to concrete results. - Strong written English — supplier and customer contact requires clarity and professionalism - Ability to take ownership and make sound decisions independently - Leadership potential — you can grow into managing a team - Ability to manage multiple responsibilities without losing overview - Proactive mindset — you spot and solve problems before they escalate This is a remote, long-term role. Part-time to start, with hours and responsibility expanding based on performance. How to Apply Please send a short introduction.
