Summary

We at Exothermi Inc. are looking for an experienced experimental engineer or researcher to support the testing and optimisation of an ongoing combustion-based process involving powdered material technology. The core experimental framework and baseline testing have already been completed by our internal team. We are now seeking a resource who can take ownership of further experimentation with the objective of improving process efficiency, performance, and stability. This role will involve hands-on physical experimentation, systematic variation of known process parameters, detailed data analysis, and identification of additional variables that may influence overall process outcomes. Key Responsibilities: a) Conduct physical combustion experiments using powdered material systems b) Optimise process efficiency by varying key known parameters (e.g., feed rate, particle characteristics, airflow/oxygen conditions, ignition methods, reaction chamber configuration, etc.) c) Design and execute structured experimental plans (DOE) d) Identify and evaluate new variables that could improve process performance e) Record and analyse experimental data with strong technical rigor f) Provide regular progress updates and technical recommendations g) Prepare concise experimental reports and optimisation strategies Required Qualifications: a) Proven hands-on experience in experimental testing (combustion, thermal systems, chemical processes, or powder technology preferred) b) Access to physical testing capability / laboratory setup to perform experiments c) Strong understanding of combustion fundamentals and process optimisation methods d) Experience with experimental design, data analysis, and efficiency improvement e) Ability to work independently and propose technically sound solutions f) Background in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Systems, or related field Please share your relevant sample work along with your proposal.
