Expert UI/UX Design Consultant for SaaS Audit & Design System

We are seeking an expert UI/UX Design Consultant to evaluate, refine, and elevate the design architecture for our SaaS platform, splitlab.io. We currently have a talented in-house designer producing solid foundational work. However, as we prepare to scale, we need a seasoned professional to audit our existing designs, identify areas for UX/UI improvement, and provide high-level strategic guidance to make our product world-class. Your primary objective will be establishing a highly structured, scalable design system that our engineering team can seamlessly follow to build the software. We aren't just looking for someone to push pixels; we want your expert thoughts, insights, and best practices as we build. What We Need From You: Audit & Advise: Review our current UI/UX, pinpoint weaknesses, and implement professional-grade improvements. Systematize: Create a robust and developer-friendly design system in Figma. Collaborate: We will share our Figma files for you to duplicate, work within, and share back. We expect a collaborative, back-and-forth iterative process until the designs are perfect. Role Details: This is an ongoing, hourly consulting role. All time must be tracked via the Upwork Desktop App. We are looking for an individual professional, not an agency.
