FP&A Expert - Fractional Financial Planning & Analysis Consultant

We are a U.S.-based finance and accounting advisory firm supporting growing businesses with annual revenue between $1M and $50M+. We're looking for an experienced FP&A Analyst professional to support our clients on an ongoing, part-time basis. What you'll do: •Build and maintain 13-week cash flow forecasts •Prepare monthly and quarterly financial forecasts •Develop pro forma financial statements for planning and decision-making •Perform budget vs. actual (flux/variance) analysis and explain key drivers •Build and update financial models in Excel •Support scenario and sensitivity analysis •Analyze revenue, expenses, margins, and working capital •Prepare reports and dashboards for internal teams and clients •Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data What we're looking for: •3-5 years of FP&A, financial analysis, corporate finance, or accounting experience •Strong Microsoft Excel skills (advanced formulas, PivotTables, lookups; Power Query is a plus) •Experience preparing cash flow forecasts and financial models •Understanding of financial statements and budgeting •Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field Strong analytical and communication skills •Ability to work during overlapping U.S. business hours •Comfortable using AI tools to improve financial analysis, reporting, modelling, and overall efficiency Engagement: •Part-time (10–20 hrs/week initially) •Fully remote •3–4 hours overlap with U.S. Eastern Time.
