Parchment & Clay is an online education company launching its first course — The Bible Against Kings — in fall 2026. The course explores anti-authoritarian themes in the Hebrew Bible from a rigorous, non-theological, academic perspective. Our visual identity is fully designed. Our design brief is complete. Our core marketing assets — including a cover image, course branding, and social media templates — are ready. The Kajabi template is implemented. We are just looking for someone to build out the pages precisely, quickly, and reliably. The engagement We are offering a fixed-price project sprint for the initial launch build, with potential for an ongoing hourly arrangement for social media posting and Kajabi maintenance. The sprint must be substantially complete by mid-August 2026. This is a firm deadline tied to a presale advertising launch. Before any work begins, we expect the successful candidate to review our task list, ask clarifying questions, and produce a brief written scope document confirming what is included, what is not, who is responsible for what, and what completion looks like for each deliverable. What needs to be built Phase 1 — Sprint (fixed project fee, completion by early August): • Homepage: replace current placeholder template content with Parchment & Clay copy, imagery, and branding • Presale landing page for The Bible Against Kings with hero image, course description, pricing, and call to action • Email list signup form connected to a lead magnet delivery funnel, embedded on relevant pages • Welcome, presale, and launch email sequences formatted, uploaded, and tested in Kajabi (copy provided) • Course product pages for individual and group enrollment tiers Ongoing (hourly after sprint): • Weekly social media posting using provided assets and copy • Kajabi page edits, funnel updates, and platform maintenance as needed What we're bringing to the table • Complete design brief with fonts, colors, and visual specifications • Finished cover image and core marketing assets • Kajabi template already implemented on the Rise theme • Copy for Phase 1 • Clear deadlines and responsive communication What we need from you • Hands-on Kajabi experience with pages, funnels, forms, automations, and email sequences • Understanding of marketing funnels and list-building mechanics • A documented working process — specifically, the ability to produce and work to a scope document • Punctuality, proactive communication, and visual precision • Availability to begin immediately and complete Phase 1 in early August 2026 "Based on our estimate of 18 to 33 hours of work, we are budgeting $600 to $800 for the Phase 1 sprint. We are open to discussion if your proposed scope document identifies work we have underestimated, but candidates significantly outside this range are unlikely to be a fit." A note on accessibility Our lead instructor is blind. Kajabi's page editor is not reliably screen-reader accessible, which means he cannot easily verify visual output. We need someone whose work we can trust without being able to spot-check every page ourselves. This makes accuracy, reliability, and proactive flagging of issues especially important in this role. If something looks wrong, we need you to catch it and raise it — not wait to be asked. Interest in the subject matter Familiarity with or genuine curiosity about the Hebrew Bible, ancient history, or progressive humanities content is a plus.
