Expert Level Technical SEO Specialist (Shopify)

We are a Danish e-commerce company looking for a skilled, mid-to-expert-level Technical SEO Specialist to help optimize our online stores. We operate in Denmark, Sweden and Norway, but all Nordic keyword research and content creation are handled internally, so we do not need help with keywords or copywriting. What we are looking for: We are looking for someone who is data-driven and analytical. We are not looking for someone who speak the Scandinavian languages, we are looking for the person who speaks crawlability, indexability, and speed. You don't need to be a hardcore Shopify Liquid developer. If a task requires heavy and complex coding, we have resources to outsource it. However, you must be comfortable navigating Shopify, implementing SEO tweaks, and managing technical optimizations. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor and optimize store performance using crawlers like Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and Google Search Console. - Identify technical issues. - Implement technical SEO fixes directly inside Shopify. - Masterful optimization of Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, FID/INP) beyond basic image compression. - Implement advanced Structured Data (Schema.org) dynamically across product, collection, and article pages. - Manage crawl budget and architecture for large Shopify catalogs. - Help improve Core Web Vitals and site speed by identifying bottlenecks. Requirements: - Solid experience with Technical SEO, specifically for e-commerce/Shopify platforms. - Strong proficiency in using Ahrefs for site audits and health monitoring. - Good understanding of basic HTML/CSS and how Shopify’s backend architecture works. - Analytical mindset – you know how to turn data from Ahrefs into actionable technical tasks.
